Workshop terms and conditions

Conclusion of contract / registration

  1. Prices and training offers published on the organiser's advertising materials do not yet constitute a binding offer on the part of the organiser. They may be withdrawn or amended by the organiser at any time prior to the express acceptance of the contract partner's order.
  2. The contract is concluded only after the organiser has confirmed the registration in writing (including confirmation by electronic means).
  3. Although the organiser seeks to ensure the availability of the specified courses, it cannot be guaranteed that all courses will be available at the time the order is placed. If the organiser is unable to fulfil the client's order, the organiser may decline it without further liability. In this case, the organiser will inform the contractual partner accordingly and refund all payments already made.
  4. There is no entitlement to participate in training courses with a limited number of possible participants.

Implementation / rights of use

  1. The organiser reserves the right to change speakers and/or to postpone or change the course of the programme or its venue, provided this does not fundamentally change the objective of the event. There shall be no entitlement to the event being held by a particular speaker or at a particular venue.
  2. Statements and explanations of the training services in advertising materials and on the website of the organiser and in the documentation are meant exclusively to describe the subject matter and not to guarantee or assure a particular feature.
  3. There is no explicit or implicit assignment or granting of authorisations or rights to training materials, software, copyrights, rights of use, brands or trademarks or their applications, unless later otherwise agreed.

Cancellation of workshops by the client / participant

  1. Cancellations received by the organiser more than 1 day before the start of the event are free of charge. In the event of absence from the event or termination of participation, the full participation fee must be paid. The naming of a substitute participant is possible, as long as the training service has not yet begun.
  2. Cancellation has to be made in writing. The participant shall be entitled to prove that the organiser has suffered no or only minor damage as a result of the cancellation.

Cancellation of dates and changes to the scope of the training event by the organiser

  1. The organiser reserves the right to cancel announced or commenced training services due to insufficient numbers of participants or illness of teaching staff as well as other disruptions in business operations for which the organiser is not responsible. Kn such case, participation fees already paid will be refunded. The affected participants will be informed immediately. Further claims are excluded.
  2. Deviations of up to 10% from the agreed scope of the training measure constitute an insignificant deviation from the contractual performance and shall be deemed irrelevant. They do not entitle the participant to assert claims.

Terms of payment / remuneration

  1. The participation fee is due without any deductions upon receipt of the invoice. Payment shall be made to the account of the organiser stated in the invoice, stating the invoice number and the customer number.
  2. The contractual partner may only offset claims that have been legally established or are undisputed by the organiser. The contractual partner is only authorised to exercise a right of retention insofar as his claim is based on the same contractual relationship.
