Chirurgie Trier

Greater performance, state-of-the-art technology – but no extra space. A situation familiar to many medical practices.

The Chirurgie Trier practice also faced the task of modernising its existing X-ray system. The challenge was that the new solution had to integrate seamlessly into the existing premises without compromising on functionality or efficiency.

As a long-standing EXAMION customer, the practice was already using a detector system from our company. As part of the modernisation, the decision was made to opt for the X-DRS Floor Basic – a floor-mounted X-ray system that adapts perfectly to the practice’s spatial conditions.

The existing system was completely replaced at the end of 2025. From dismantling and installation through to commissioning and the initial stability tests, the project was carried out in close consultation with the practice team.

“The dismantling of the old system and the installation of the new X-ray system were carried out in a very organised and efficient manner. We were particularly impressed by the close coordination throughout the entire process and the technicians’ proactive approach to addressing our specific requirements in our day-to-day practice operations,” reports Senior Radiography Technician Celina Schöne.

Today, the X-DRS Floor Basic is used primarily in trauma surgery for diagnostics and surgical planning. Thanks to its compact design, it fits perfectly into existing premises and offers the practice a modern, future-proof solution – without taking up any extra space.
